Wyoming author, Craig Johnson, will be at the Upton Branch Library on Friday, September 10 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. We will have an informal open house to give the public the opportunity to meet and visit with Mr. Johnson.
Mr. Johnson lives in Ucross, Wyoming (population 25), and has authored six contemporary mysteries set in Wyoming with his main character named, Sheriff Walt Longmire.
Mr. Johnson has had starred reviews in Kirkus, Booklist, Publisher's Weekly and Library Journal. He has won various awards including, the Wyoming Historical Association's Book of the Year, Western Writers of American Spur Award, Mountains and Plains Award for fiction Book of the Year and Publisher's Weekly Best Book of the Year. Some of his titles have been translated into French and now Czechoslovakian.
