Used Book Sale & Bake Sale

The Upton Branch Library will be having a used book sale Monday, October 27 - Friday, October 31. There is a very large collection of non-fiction and fiction books for this sale.

We will also be holding a bake sale on Wednesday, October 29. We are looking for people that wish to donate baked goods to this sale, call the library and let us know you are willing to help. Breads, cakes, rolls, and cookies are all welcome.

Both the used book sale and the bake sale will be held during normal library hours. If you have questions about either sale give the library a call at 307-468-2324 and the staff will be happy to help you.

Services of the Upton Branch Library

The Upton Branch Library is part of the Weston County Library System with the main library being in Newcastle, WY.

We have an on-line card catalog that you can access from any computer. You can also renew most items and request items from other libraries in the state (for a fee). The website to visit is: http://wyld.state.wy.us/uptn for the on-line card catalog.

In order to access your library account you will need your library card number and your PIN number. If you are not sure what your PIN number is call the library and we will be happy to help you.

The Upton Branch Library is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

We have computers for public use, you can check your e-mail, view web content and search the on-line card catalog. You can also use Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.

We also have Wi-Fi access that is on all the time (unless there is a power failure or the provider is having issues). Make sure your laptop or notebook computer's battery is charged up as we do not have plug-ins available due to a lack of accessible plug-ins. Our Wi-Fi signal is strong enough that you can also park next to the library and reach the Wi-Fi signal from your vehicle.

The staff is always ready to assist you, all you have to do is ask.
